The LDS Wards in Lyman take turns conducting a Fast and Testimony on Sunday behind the buildings at the Post. Here are the Sacrament tables and chairs ready for the service. They had a PA system. There were 32 priesthood holders deacons and older men, passing the sacrament. It went pretty fast. People were seated in chairs making a part row and some were on blankets. They were seated behind the tables, in front of the tables and any where else that was near. I don't know how the passing of the sacrament went so well. Afterwards people used the PA system to bear their testimonies. We were very glad to participate. I imagined that the audience must have looked like this when crossing the plains. Many were in period costumes, some according to the country them represented. Awesome sight!
Diane was outstanding in her Indian clothing. She made her dress and robe. Amazing. She is pointing to a friend. Cute, huh?
Here you can see one of the loud speakers for the service and some of the men who were conducting.
As you can see we were facing east! I don't know why I shut my eyes. I didn't wear this hat yesterday and I got sunburned! Isn't their attire beautiful? We said good bye to them and did the rest of the day by ourselves. Scotty was competing elsewhere. There were competitions both days.
