Cub Scout Event

On December 4th our Pack 890 presented two Arrow of Light Awards. Terrie Mattson is our Indian Princess and Chuck is the Chief. There is a blanket for each family to sit on in front of our 'fire'. In front of each family is a row of seven feathers of different colors with different meanings. As Terrie explains the meaning the parent hands the feather to the Cub Scout to put on his arrow. The last one represents Love and is the Eagle feather. The Cubs are then presented with a wooden plaque with their name on it to hang the arrow on. Chuck and I make these plaques. There are eight out of twenty Activity Badges required for the Arrow of Light. These two Cubs have earned all twenty badges! Our leaders work hard with the Scouts. Here is a picture of the plaque.
